Ripples franchisees top-up sales skills

Last week, a group of 13 Ripples franchisees attended a day-long sales training event run by specialist sales trainer Simon Hares. The training day, which took place in The Cotswolds, brought together franchisees from as far afield as Truro and Southport to give them the opportunity to refresh their knowledge of the Ripples sales process and learn some new skills and techniques along the way.

The training day covered all steps of the Ripples sales process, from enticing customers through the showroom doors, to checking in with the customer once the sale is complete. Using a range of visual cues and hands-on activities, Simon delivered valuable insights on how to set scene with a customer before qualifying them, before then focusing on how to develop customer confidence to ensure they commit to Ripples.

Ripples Sales Director Nicola Crow said, “Sales training days are hugely important to our business as they help us understand the latest changes in consumer habits and remind us of the importance of each step of the sales process. By spending a day away from the showroom, our franchisees are able to gain perspective on their own businesses, and receive specialist guidance on how to improve. Simon’s sessions are always enthusiastically delivered and offer valuable content for franchisees who have just joined the Ripples family, as well as those who have been with us for over 20 years. In essence, these sales training days help us to sharpen our tools and equip ourselves with the sales techniques relevant to today’s consumer.”
