It’s all about Towcester! Business partners Dane and Scott have just completed their first year as Ripples franchisees. We spoke to Dane to discuss his highlights…

Initial enquiry

With a successful bathroom installation business already under their belts, business partners Dane and Scott were keen to explore new avenues within the bathroom industry. It was through a social media advertisement that Dane first learned about Ripples. The fact that Ripples remains a family-owned company, with the original owner still involved, was what initially piqued Dane’s interest. After making contact with the team at head office, Dane soon received a call from our CEO, Roger Kyme, and a few weeks later, they had their first official coffee date and visited tour head office in Bath. This gave Dane and Scott the opportunity to pinpoint exactly what they wanted to achieve on their new endeavour.

Understanding the Ripples way

After Dane and Scott signed on the dotted line, they started the process of becoming Ripples franchisees which involved training on every aspect of running a showroom. To give them a real life showroom experience, Dane and Scott headed to our established shwroom in Newbury for a week of shadowing and training with the highly experied showroom team there. A variety of topics were covered, including sales, active showroom experiences, and product knowledge. While Dane and Scott had prior experience with bathroom fitting which gave them a good foundation and technical understanding, they both felt that the training they received really improved their ability to engage with and approach potential customers on the showroom floor.

Would they do it again?

When asked if he would encourage someone who is considering joining the Ripples franchise, we couldn't help but grin when we heard Dane give a very enthusiastic ‘yes’. Dane talks about his first year in his showroom with a sense of accomplishment that is clear. Dane and Scott both expressed gratitude for the support they have received as well as their confidence in the brand and our pre-approved list of reputable suppliers.

Ripples Towcester showroom is filled with many beautiful and inspiring displays. A walk around the showroom provides an overview of stunning ideas and their in-house designer Erin completes the team with an enthusiastic and stylish approach to bathroom design.
